The problem

International payroll still runs on 1970s plumbing.

Cross-border B2B payments still route through correspondent banks, FX desks and SWIFT. Small businesses pay the price.

01

5–7% lost to fees and spread

Wires, intermediaries and FX markups stack up — a $5,000 payment to Nairobi can cost $300 in friction.

02

3–5 day settlement times

Two or three correspondent banks turn "instant" into nearly a week of chasing and reconciling.

03

Opaque rails, blind recipients

Senders can't see where the money is; recipients don't know what lands until it lands.

04

Built for big banks, not SMBs

Modern payment products serve consumers. SMBs paying global teams get sent back to the wire desk.

Three steps out. Three steps back. One account.

A thin layer between your bank account and their local bank or mobile-money wallet — in both directions. We never hold your funds.

Pay out · your business → their local account
Step 01

Fund in USD, CAD, GBP, EUR — or your own currency

ACH or wire in USD, Interac or EFT in CAD, Faster Payments in GBP, SEPA in EUR — to account details in your own name.

Step 02

Convert & settle

Funds convert at the mid-market rate through regulated infrastructure providers — never held by Storspay.

Step 03

Deliver — local currency or USD

Naira, shillings, rand or CFA francs to a bank or mobile-money wallet the same day — or a flat-fee transfer to a US, Canadian, UK or European bank.

Get paid · their local account → your USD balance
Step 01

Create a payment request

Pick the country and amount; Storspay generates local payment instructions with a unique reference you share by WhatsApp, SMS or email.

Step 02

They pay locally

They pay from the bank or mobile-money account they already use. Large amounts split under local caps automatically.

Step 03

USD lands in your balance

Credited the same business day at the mid-market rate, 2% all-in. Then pay a Northern bank, spend on a Storspay Card or send to another Storspay account.

The money coming back is the part nobody solved. Until now.

Your customers in Africa, Latin America and Asia can pay locally in minutes — but getting that money to your account takes weeks and a wire desk. Storspay turns it into a payment request and a same-day credit.

Sell to Africa

Invoice in dollars, get paid in shillings

A hospital in Nairobi or a distributor in Lagos pays your reference by bank or mobile money. You see USD.

Repatriate

Bring profits home — in the millions

Large amounts split under local caps automatically — one reference, one fee, credited after review.

Tuition & fees

Pay a US or Canadian school from Abidjan

Parents pay locally; the bursar receives a USD bank transfer for a flat $5.

Delegations

Fund a trip from home

An embassy funds its balance in shillings and issues delegate cards with limits and validity dates.

For businesses in Africa, Latin America & Asia

Based in Lagos, Nairobi, Abidjan, Bogotá or Colombo? Pay the world from your own currency.

Sign up from any of our 26 countries, fund your USD account from your own bank or mobile money, and pay suppliers, schools, software or your own Northern entity. 2% to fund; a flat $5, CA$5, £4 or €4.50 into a US, Canadian, UK or European bank.

Suppliers & software

Pay AWS, a German supplier or a UK agency

Fund in naira, shillings, cedis or pesos; the payee receives exactly the amount on the invoice.

Tuition & fees

Pay a US, Canadian, UK or European school from Accra

Save the bursar once; every term after that is a 20-second payment.

Your own Northern entity

Move working capital to your US or UK company

Fund locally, hold USD, and pay your own Delaware or London entity whenever you decide.

Cards

A company card and team cards

A virtual card instantly, physical cards by courier, up to 25 team cards with limits and controls.

Frequently asked questions

How stablecoin payroll actually works.

We use USDC — a fully regulated, dollar-backed digital currency — to move money faster and cheaper than SWIFT. Here's what that means for your business.

USDC is a digital dollar issued by Circle and regulated under US money-transmission laws. Every token is backed 1:1 by US dollars held in reserve at regulated financial institutions. We route payments through USDC on the Base network because it settles in seconds instead of days, eliminates correspondent-bank fees, and creates a fully auditable trail for every transaction. Your recipients never touch crypto — they receive local currency directly in their bank account or mobile-money wallet.
Storspay never holds customer funds. Your USD deposits sit in a virtual account issued by a regulated infrastructure provider — a subsidiary of a major US payments company. Funds convert to USDC only momentarily during settlement and are delivered to your recipient's local bank within the same business day. Custody is handled by licensed, audited providers at every stage. If a payout fails — for example, due to an incorrect account number — the funds are returned to your Storspay balance automatically.
KYB stands for Know Your Business — a regulatory verification process required for any business sending cross-border payments. It confirms your company is a legitimate, registered entity. The process typically takes a few minutes: you provide your EIN, business registration documents, and authorized-signer identification. Once verified, your account is activated and you can begin sending payments. KYB protects both your business and your recipients by ensuring all transactions flow through compliant, audited channels.
No. Recipients receive local currency — Naira, Shilling, Rand, CFA Franc, Pesos, or Reais — directly in their existing bank account or mobile-money wallet. They don't need to create a Storspay account, download an app, or understand anything about stablecoins. You enter their bank details; they see the money arrive.
Storspay charges a single all-in rate of 2% on every corridor, in both directions. That one rate covers everything: conversion, settlement, and local delivery. There are no hidden FX markups, no intermediary-bank fees, and no per-wire charges stacked on top. By comparison, traditional wires through your bank typically cost 5–7% when you factor in the FX spread, the SWIFT fee, and the correspondent-bank cut. We show you the exact amount your recipient will receive before you confirm every payment.
Same business day for most corridors. Once your USD clears via ACH (typically same-day or next-day for subsequent transfers), conversion to USDC and delivery to local currency happen within hours. SWIFT wires to the same destinations typically take 3–5 business days. If you fund via domestic wire instead of ACH, settlement is even faster.
Storspay operates as a B2B payments platform. Our infrastructure partners hold the relevant licenses for money transmission, custody, and local-currency disbursement in each market. All transactions flow through KYB-verified corporate accounts, comply with AML and sanctions-screening requirements, and are fully auditable. We are incorporated in Canada with a US operating address and maintain compliance with both FinCEN and FINTRAC reporting standards.
Storspay supports payouts in twenty-six corridors across Africa, Latin America and Asia: Nigeria (NGN), Ghana (GHS), Côte d'Ivoire (XOF), Senegal (XOF), Cameroon (XAF), Togo (XOF), Benin (XOF), Burkina Faso (XOF), Gabon (XAF), Congo-Brazzaville (XAF), Kenya (KES), Uganda (UGX), Tanzania (TZS), Rwanda (RWF), Zambia (ZMW), Malawi (MWK), Ethiopia (ETB), Botswana (BWP), South Africa (ZAR), Mexico (MXN), Brazil (BRL), Colombia (COP), Argentina (ARS), Ecuador (USD), Cambodia (KHR), and Sri Lanka (LKR). You can fund payments in USD, CAD, GBP or EUR, and businesses in any of these corridors can pay you back into your USD, GBP or EUR Storspay account details. We add new corridors quarterly as our licensed partner network deepens.
Most alternatives still route through the correspondent-banking system — they just put a nicer interface on top. Storspay bypasses SWIFT entirely by settling on stablecoin rails, which removes the intermediary-bank fees and multi-day delays at the infrastructure level. That's why we can offer 2% all-in with same-day settlement, compared to 5–7% and multi-day waits on traditional rails. We're also built exclusively for B2B payroll — not consumer transfers — which means our compliance, reporting, and support are designed for businesses running recurring cross-border payrolls.
Reach out to us at info@storsapp.com — we're expanding coverage quarterly and can often accommodate high-priority corridors ahead of schedule. Our licensed partners maintain broad coverage across commercial banks and mobile-money networks in each market, so most accounts are deliverable on day one.
Yes. Every one of our 26 corridors works in both directions. Create a payment request in Storspay, share the local bank or mobile-money instructions and reference with your customer, and the money lands in your USD balance the same business day it is paid — 2% all-in at the mid-market rate. From there you can pay a US, Canadian, UK or European bank, spend on a Storspay Card, or send to another Storspay account. See how getting paid works →
Yes. Businesses registered in any of our 26 countries sign up the same way a US business does, verify with their local company registry and directors, and get a USD account in their name. You fund it from your own local bank or mobile-money account (2% all-in at the mid-market rate, no request from anyone needed), then pay suppliers, software, schools, freelancers or your own Northern entity in the US, Canada, UK or Europe for a flat $5, CA$5, £4 or €4.50 — or spend from the balance on a Storspay Card. Canadian bank payouts are live too, and all 26 countries — Ethiopia and Argentina included — are open for sign-up today. See how paying abroad works →
Yes. Fund in USD by ACH or wire, in CAD by Interac e-Transfer or EFT, in GBP by UK bank transfer, or in EUR by SEPA transfer — each to account details in your own name. Balances convert to USD on arrival at the rate you see before you send. Funding is free on every path except instant Interac, which carries a small partner fee.
Yes. Recipients can receive USD to a US bank account (flat $5, no conversion), GBP to a UK account (flat £4) or EUR to a European account (flat €4.50) — or open a free Storspay Account to hold USD, spend it on a Storspay Card and cash out to local currency whenever they choose. The 2% rate applies only to local-currency delivery.
A Storspay Account gives a verified person or organisation its own USD, GBP and EUR account details for receiving money, plus a balance they control. A Storspay Card is a virtual or physical card that spends directly from that balance — anywhere the card network is accepted, with limits the account owner or organisation manager sets. Marketplaces and platforms can open them for sellers through the API.
Yes. Our agent payouts API is live — an MCP tool that lets an AI agent send a real payout inside limits a human sets in advance, with a human approval step before any money moves. See Storspay for developers to request API access.
Every agent will operate inside a mandate a human sets in advance: a cap per payment, a cap per month, an approved recipient list, an allowed-country list, and a threshold above which payments stop and wait for human approval. The agent cannot widen any of its own limits, and a human can pause every agent instantly.
The largest payout rails don't reach Nigeria or Ghana, so many platforms simply block workers in those countries. Storspay is live in both — plus twenty-four more corridors across Africa, Latin America and Asia — delivering local currency the same business day. See the full list in the Coverage section above.
No. Workers receive local currency directly in the bank account or mobile-money wallet they already have. They don't create a Storspay account, download an app, or touch crypto — you enter their details, and they see the money arrive.

About

Built by a founder who has moved money across borders before.

We built Storspay because the first time we tried to pay our own engineering team across three African countries, we lost a week and 6% on every cycle. Wires shouldn't feel like that in 2026. Dr. Adebayo Alonge · Founder & CEO

Serial fintech and healthtech founder with prior operating experience scaling cross-border platforms across Africa and North America. Previously founded RxAll, where he built and operated payment and supply-chain infrastructure across nine countries.

Recognized by Inc. 500 Founders (2025) and Fast Company World Changing Ideas (2025). Yale World Fellow. PhD-trained scientist turned operator.
