Chamber and association members: digital dollars for cross-border trade

For members of chambers of commerce, trade associations and business networks across Africa — what Storspay Exchange adds to the Get paid and Pay out accounts they already use, and how a referral partner can present it.

The short answer. Members who already pay out and get paid through Storspay gain USDC and USDT balances next to their dollars and euros — to accept a buyer who settles in digital dollars, pay a supplier who asks for them, and cash out locally at 2% all-in — on a paid plan, by application.

What members have been asking

Across the chambers and networks we work with, the same question comes up: a member’s buyer or supplier wants to settle in USDT, and the member does not want that money in a personal wallet. Exchange is the answer we built for businesses, with the same verification, statements and support as the rest of the account.

How a referral partner presents it

The pitch is one line: “the digital-dollar leg of your business, inside the account that already does your payroll and collections”. Partner links keep working — storspay.com/exchange/?ref=CODE — and the partner is credited for the member exactly as for any other sign-up. Codes are attribution only; there are no fee credits or discounts.

What a member does

Apply from the Exchange tab on a paid plan; answer a few questions about what they will trade and why; a director verifies identity once; declare the wallets they will use. Reply within one business day. Then: receive, convert, trade with other verified members, cash out.

What to be careful about

Business use only — a sole trader counts, a personal account does not. Availability depends on the member’s country. Exchange is not the cheapest place to trade and does not claim to be; it is the place a member keeps its books clean.

How it works, in four steps

  1. Apply once. A verified business on a paid Storspay plan applies from the Exchange tab: a few questions about what it will trade and why, a one-time identity check for a director, the wallets it plans to use. Reply within one business day.
  2. Receive or convert. A client sends USDT or USDC to the address in your business name, or you convert dollars or euros from your balance at 0.75% all-in.
  3. Trade or hold. Keep the balance, convert between USDC and USDT at 0.25%, or trade with other verified businesses on the P2P market — taker 0.5%, makers free, settled the instant the buyer confirms.
  4. Cash out or send. Pay your local bank or mobile money the same business day at 2% all-in, or send to any wallet address for the network fee only.

Who this is for — and who it is not for

Businesses, and a sole trader counts: every movement is a business transaction with an invoice, a contract or work delivered. Traders are welcome as businesses and should expect what the page says plainly — verified counterparties, instant settlement and a cash-out to their own business account, not the tightest spread on the internet. Personal accounts, gifts and family transfers are not what this is.

Keep your invoices and statements for your records and ask a local accountant how income in digital dollars is taxed where you live.
