StorsApp Inc. files for registration as a Money Services Business with FINTRAC
Storspay's operating company has filed its Money Services Business registration with Canada's financial intelligence unit (application 010760). Here is what that means, and what it does not.
On September 4, 2026, StorsApp Inc. — the federally incorporated Canadian company that operates Storspay — filed for registration as a Money Services Business (MSB) with the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), application number 010760. The registration is in progress.
What this is
FINTRAC is Canada's financial intelligence unit. MSB registration brings a company under Canada's anti-money-laundering and anti-terrorist-financing regime: verified customers, record-keeping, sanctions screening and reporting. It is the regulatory foundation for a payments business serving Canadian customers.
What it is not
Registration with FINTRAC is not an endorsement by FINTRAC or the Government of Canada, and it is not a licence to hold customer funds. Storspay does not hold, custody or control customer money at any time: balances sit with regulated financial infrastructure providers, and every other party in the payment chain acts solely as a payment transmitter. Our full disclosures are at the foot of every page on storspay.com.
What we already do
Storspay serves verified businesses only. Every business is verified before its first payment, and every payment is screened against Canadian, United Nations and US sanctions lists. Local-currency payouts are delivered by licensed partners regulated in each destination country.
We will update this page when the registration completes.
