Storspay now works in both directions: fund in USD, CAD, GBP or EUR, pay 26 corridors — and get paid back
The same account that pays your team in Nairobi or Lagos now collects what your customers there owe you, credits it in USD the same day, and lets you pay a US, UK or European bank or spend on a Storspay Card.
Every conversation we had with customers this summer ended with the same question: "You get the money there — can you get it back?" From today, storspay.com answers yes.
What's new
- Four funding currencies. Fund your Storspay balance in USD by ACH or wire, in CAD by Interac e-Transfer or EFT, in GBP by UK bank transfer, or in EUR by SEPA — each to account details in your own name. Balances convert to USD on arrival at the rate you see before you send.
- Get paid from any of the 26 corridors. Create a payment request, share the local bank or mobile-money instructions and reference with your customer, and the money lands in your USD balance the same business day it is paid — 2% all-in at the mid-market rate. Large amounts are split automatically under local channel caps, under one reference and one fee. See how getting paid works →
- Pay out in USD, GBP or EUR too. Recipients who want dollars, pounds or euros instead of local currency can be paid to a US, UK or European bank account for a flat $5, £4 or €4.50 — no conversion, in the same batch as your naira and shilling payouts.
- Storspay Accounts and Cards. Verified businesses, organisations and the people they pay can hold a USD balance with USD, GBP and EUR account details, and spend from it with a virtual or physical Storspay Card. Platforms open them for sellers through the API.
- One rate. 2% all-in on every corridor, paying out or getting paid. No FX markup, no per-wire charges. Flat fees only on USD, GBP and EUR bank transfers.
Who asked for this
Exporters invoicing distributors in Lagos. Consultants billing clients in Abidjan. A medical-tourism programme paying Kenyan hospitals. Diaspora associations funding delegations from home. Investors bringing profits back. All of them could pay into Africa in minutes and needed a week and a wire desk to get money out. Now it is a payment request and a same-day credit.

The calculator on the homepage has a new Get paid mode: enter what you want to receive and who is paying you, and it shows what they pay locally, the fee, and what you keep versus an inbound wire. Verified businesses and organisations can request early access; the accounts and cards surfaces are available to platforms in sandbox today through the Accounts, Cards & Collections API.
See your own corridor number. What your team receives, what Storspay costs, what you keep — no sign-up.
