The platform settling sellers in three countries with digital dollars

A marketplace or gig platform that collects in USDT from buyers abroad and pays sellers in Kenya, Nigeria and the Philippines — one balance, three payout rails, one ledger.

The short answer. Collect USDT or USDC to the platform’s address, hold it as a balance between settlement runs, and pay sellers locally at 2% all-in (1% to the Philippines) or to their wallet addresses for the network fee — all from Run Payroll, under one reference.

The shape of the problem

A platform earns in dollars or digital dollars and owes sellers in three or four local currencies on a weekly cycle. Holding the float in a personal wallet and selling it on P2P apps per country does not scale and does not audit. Holding it as a Storspay balance does.

Collecting

Buyers or partner platforms pay the platform’s USDT address on Tron or USDC address on Base; each deposit is screened and credited, and appears in Activity with the network and amount. The platform can also collect local currency through Get paid in any of the 30 countries.

Settling

A settlement run is one payroll batch: a CSV of sellers with amounts, each line paid from the USDC or USDT balance to a bank or mobile-money account at 2% all-in (1% · min US$2 in India, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand), or to a wallet address for the network fee. The batch has one reference, one confirmation, and a receipt per seller.

Treasury

Between runs the balance stays as digital dollars; convert part of it to US dollars at 0.75% when you want a dollar balance. The ≈ total shows the whole float at the reference rate; the chips show what you actually hold. Platforms building on the API can automate collections and payouts — see the developers page.

How it works, in four steps

  1. Apply once. A verified business on a paid Storspay plan applies from the Exchange tab: a few questions about what it will trade and why, a one-time identity check for a director, the wallets it plans to use. Reply within one business day.
  2. Receive or convert. A client sends USDT or USDC to the address in your business name, or you convert dollars or euros from your balance at 0.75% all-in.
  3. Trade or hold. Keep the balance, convert between USDC and USDT at 0.25%, or trade with other verified businesses on the P2P market — taker 0.5%, makers free, settled the instant the buyer confirms.
  4. Cash out or send. Pay your local bank or mobile money the same business day at 2% all-in, or send to any wallet address for the network fee only.

Who this is for — and who it is not for

Businesses, and a sole trader counts: every movement is a business transaction with an invoice, a contract or work delivered. Traders are welcome as businesses and should expect what the page says plainly — verified counterparties, instant settlement and a cash-out to their own business account, not the tightest spread on the internet. Personal accounts, gifts and family transfers are not what this is.

Keep your invoices and statements for your records and ask a local accountant how income in digital dollars is taxed where you live.
